On the 16th and 23rd of June took place the two finals of the 2020 declaiming competition organised by the AEFE. Our students did extremely well. Priscilla, in 1ere 7, won the 1ère competition against incredibly talented orators. Robert came 2nd out of 9, in what was a very impressive performances of 3ème students.

Priscilla, 1ère 7: “Taking part in the declaiming competition was both exciting and stressful. At first, I was reluctant on if I should even partake in the competition but luckily, I had a supportive English teacher that encouraged me to do it. Overall, it was a great experience and I am so ever thankful for being awarded first place. It was an amazing experience and I was lucky enough to be up against 5 other talented and hardworking candidates. In all honesty, this has boosted my confidence even more and has proved to me that I can do anything that I put my mind to. That is the motivational aspect that I strive to always accomplish.”

Robert, 3ème 7: “I just saw my results and I placed 2nd! I wanted to let you know how grateful I am towards this experience and thank you for introducing me to this competition.”
