Reporting to the Lead Science Technician and Department coordinators as Line Managers, the Science laboratory assistant will help support our team of technicians and teachers in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.
Role and Key Responsibilities:
Your duties as a laboratory assistant will include preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons, set up and clearing of equipment in the classroom before and after lessons.
You will also provide specific or ad hoc technical and administrative support to the department as and when required by the line management.
You will be trained by our team of technicians and our school has a supportive team of staff who will assist you during your progress within the role.
Expected Skills and Knowledge:
Working hours per year: 40h per week over 40 weeks per annum (1600 h per annum) according to a timetable set by your manager. Possible late shifts over the week – late start at 9.45am until 6.15pm
Location: South Kensington (London)
Monthly gross salary and benefits:
