The Lycée Français Charles De Gaulle de Londres, is looking for Qualified Primary Teachers (Fluent Level English Speaker) from 1st September 2022 to cover planned and unplanned absences for the academic year 2022/23 in the Primary English department at the four Primary sites: South Kensington, Clapham Common, Parson’s Green and Hanwell.
The successful candidate would teach all aspects of English Language and Literature as well as some other subjects taken from the French Curriculum in English, in mixed-ability classes ranging from Nursery to Year 6.
Candidates should be highly creative, dynamic, energetic and interested in working with our dedicated team of French and English teachers and our motivated young pupils.
Pupils learn to read in English from midway through Year 2, meaning the teachers must be willing to learn how our specialised English Programme has been adapted from the English National Curriculum to accommodate the fact that pupils are learning two languages.
A good working knowledge of French is preferred.
The roles would be 0-hour contracts.
