Position to be filled: Ideally from 1st December 2023

Main duties:

  • Serves meals in compliance with safety standards and food hygiene regulations
  • Supports pupils in their choices (welcome, information ...)
  • Supplies the self-service lines
  • Contributes to food presentation
  • Complies with H.A.C.C.P. food hygiene regulations and logs in relevant information into the traceability system
  • Maintains and cleans the catering premises and equipment in compliance with hygiene and security rules

Requirements:

  • Training and/or catering experience
  • Knows HACCP method and adheres strictly to food safety regulations.
  • Dynamic, ability to take initiative and work as part of a team
  • Rigor and ability to work independently
  • Ability to perform task on time and at the time prescribed
  • Fluent in English, at least spoken English

Working hours: 20 hours per week (800 hours per year) Monday to Friday, from 9:45 am to 14h15 pm

Monthly gross salary: £ 1 139.73 (incl. all allowances)

The Lycée is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all its staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All post holders are subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. (This procedure is undertaken by the Lycée). Additionally, anyone who has resided outside the UK will be asked to provide a criminal disclosure record from their previous countries of residence. Non-British citizens: You will be required to provide evidence of you right to work in the UK.
