Kitchen Assistant

Site: Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle

Horaires: Hours: Part-time

Type: Permanent Contract

Position to be filled: from 1st September 2023

Main duties:

  • Preparation and presentation of dishes
  • Assistance in the self-service line
  • Wash up and thoroughly clean the kitchen, its surroundings, equipment and the dining room in compliance with hygiene and security rules

Requirements:

  • Diplomas and/or good catering experience
  • Ability to work dynamically and as part of a team
  • Strict adherence to Food Hygiene Regulations
  • Knowledge of the HACCP method
  • Previous catering experience within educational setting would be appreciated although not essential
  • Good command of English required

Working hours: 20 hours per week (800 hours per year) Monday to Friday, from 11:20 am to 15h20 pm

Monthly gross salary: £ 1 139.73 (incl. all allowances)

All post holders are subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. (This procedure is undertaken by the Lycée).
Additionally, anyone who has resided outside the UK will be asked to provide a criminal disclosure record from their previous countries of residence.
