PRIMARY SCHOOL QUALIFIED TEACHERS OF ENGLISH: SUPPLY COVER, LYCÉE SITES

 

The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, London, is looking for qualified Primary supply teachers (native level speakers) to cover planned and unplanned absences in the Primary English department at the four Primary sites: South Kensington, Clapham Common, Parson’s Green and Hanwell.

The successful candidate would teach all aspects of English Language and Literature as well as some other subjects taken from the French Curriculum in English, in mixed-ability classes ranging from Nursery to Year 6. Candidates should be highly creative, dynamic, energetic and interested in working with our dedicated team of French and English teachers and our motivated young pupils. Pupils learn to read in English from midway through Year 2, meaning the teacher must be willing to learn how our specialised English Programme has been adapted from the English National Curriculum to accommodate the fact that pupils are learning two languages. A good working knowledge of French is preferred. The roles would be 0-hour contracts and would commence as soon as the necessary paperwork was put in place. We are looking for teachers who would be interested to do cover work at the end of this academic year (2018/19) and for next academic year (2019/20).

Fixed hourly rate of pay (gross): £40.58
