HR Assistant (Full time - Permanent contract)

The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle wishes to recruit a HR Assistant (Full time – Permanent contract)


Position: Permanent contract, 40h/week (5 days/week) over 40 weeks per annum, from 27 August 2019.


Key responsibilities: The person will work under the direct authority of the HR Team and the Financial Director. His/her main tasks are based on the following points:

- Be the first point of contact for users and provider regarding the HR and Payroll software (Civica)
Coordinate future developments within the HR/Payroll platform
Ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled by Civica (annual upgrades, monitor billing)
Help and contribute to the day to day activities of the HR team (Welcoming new joiners, staff administration, taxes, certificate of employment, annual time tables)
Contribute to the review of HR Policies and Procedures
Input of variable pay data


Expected skills and knowledge:

- HR qualification and payroll experience, essential
Knowledge of UK legislation regarding Employment law
Proven IT skills (MS Word and Excel) and ability to learn the use of new IT and IS systems (databases, payroll system, …)
Excellent spoken and written French & English languages, essential
Excellent inter-personal skills
Attention to detail, organisation, self-motivation, team spirit, patience, availability and discretion are essential qualities.


Monthly Gross Salary: £ 2,448.72 minimum
