Virtually all the 2GCSE students achieved the national benchmark of 5 GCSEs including maths and English, improving on last year’s results. The 2GCSE pass rate far exceeded the national rate of 69.1% as well as the national A/A* result of 22.6%. 19 students achieved 5 or more A and A* grades and 9 students 8 or more A and A* grades. The overall pass rate was very similar to the 2009 result and the high standard of previous years.
