Almost all of our students go on to study at university, including Oxford and Cambridge. The vast majority go to the best universities in the U.K. but some students choose US universities. British Section students have an excellent success rate in being accepted both at U.S. and U.K. universities. For those students who have the potential to go to Oxbridge specialised support is offered in a highly successful programme of study which includes training on how to be interviewed, how to present and defend arguments and specific advice on how to write the UCAS personal statement. A special Saturday morning interview practice session is arranged to fine tune interview skills with volunteer specialist interviewers.

Considerable time is spent with students during Years 12 and 13 discussing with them their choice of subject and university. Our excellent careers advisors complement the support offered by our form tutors. Most of our students received university offers from their first choice of university.

These individual consultations are complemented by UCAS training sessions and workshops, during which students receive advice on how to complete their university application form and on writing their personal statements.
